· Joint accounts (not more than 4 person) · minors can open the account under the guidance of their parents/guardian. · Any individual opening Canara Basic Savings Bank Deposit Account should not have any other account under Canara Bank or in any branch. |
| Application | · To open Canara Bank Saving Bank Deposit Account the application has to be made by Bank prescribed form.
· One who is applying for this scheme has to submit 2 recent passport size photograph. |
| Identity and Address Proof | As per the rules and regulation of KYC(Know Your Customer) one has to produce its identity and address proof to the bank. |
| Fundamental Facilities | · Under this deposit scheme normal banking facilities are available to all individuals.
· This deposit account does not need any minimum balance. · The ATM card facility and the ATM cum Debit card facility is extended. |

Terms and Condition
- The balance should not exceed Rs 50,000.
- The total credit in a year should not exceed Rs 1 lac.
- If this credit is extended then no further transaction is granted until and unless the complete KYC process is completed.
