The state bank of India poranki branch launched 3 day home loan mela at its premises poranki.
The home loan melas were being organised in all branches. The bank was targeting “take over of home loans” from other banks. The customers who availed home loans from other banks, non-banking financial institutions (NBFIs) can transfer their home loans to the SBI.
The rate of interest was affordable and less compared to other banks and NBFIs,.
The SBI home loan currently available at 9.50 per cent for women customers and 9.55 per cent for men. The conditions for home loan take over would remain same as fresh loans.
The SBI Krishna (Rural) has set a target that 20 % of the total home loans sanctioned should take over loans. The SBI sanctions 85 housing loans per month. And, as against target of housing loans worth of Rs. 65 crore for this financial year, Rs. 60 crore was achieved, he said.
Poranki branch recorded a business of Rs. 185 crore, including advances and deposits.
