As a Technical architect, you will:

1. Define and own end-to-end Architecture from definition to go-live phase
2. Define Logical, Technical & Physical views of Architecture
3. Define & develop reference architecture, toolkits, and solution accelerators
4. Define reusable components/frameworks, common schemas, standards to be used & tools to be used and help bootstrap the engineering team
5. Review design to make sure design is aligned with Architecture
6. Mentor & guide Tech Leads & Software Engineers
7. Participating in code reviews, design reviews, architecture discussions.
8. Being responsible for Scaling, Performance & Quality for the team.
9. Setting up best practices to help the team achieve the above and constantly thinking about improving
10. The technology use are your responsibilities. Driving the adoption of these best practices around coding, design, quality, performance in your team
11. Experiment with new & relevant technologies and tools, and drive adoption while measuring yourself on the impact you are able to create
12. Implementation of long term technology vision for your team
13. Creating architectures & designs for new solutions around existing and new problem
14. Closely monitor technology and industry trends, visible thought leadership through blogs, white papers and point of views

6. Good understanding & experience of high performance web scale & real-time response systems.
7. Experience & exposure to a variety of large scale persistent systems including large databases.
8. Exposure to complete product development cycles from inception to production to scaling up, supporting new requirements, re-architectures - the Architects should have seen it all.
9. Excellent mentoring skills be the technical mentor to your team.
10. Understanding of big data platforms concepts and NoSQL technologies, and ability to map such tools to context
11. Must have hands-on experience of design methodologies and architecture principles for different kinds of applications
12. Knowledge of UML
13. Good knowledge on Database Designing skills
14. In depth knowledge on at least one designing / modeling tool such as Enterprise Architect Visio
15. Certification in any Architecture related area is a plus
