Documents Requirement:
To open EasyAccess Savings Account with Axis Bank, you just need to provide:
- Two passport size color photographs (latest) for each applicant
- Introduction related documents:
- Introduction by an existing Axis Bank customer, whose account is at least 6 months old with a suitable proof of address, or
- a letter from the manager of your existing bank, verifying identity and signature, or
- a copy of your passport along with a self-signed cheque, and
- any one document from each of the following groups:
Group I
- Voter ID Card*
- Defence or Police or Govt. Dept. ID Card
- Pan Card or Driving Licence or Photo Credit Card (*along with self-signed cheque).
Group II
- Passport;
- Telephone / Mobile / Electricity Bill. Any connection to be at least 6 months old in the name of the account holder / spouse / family member, and the bill date should not be older than 3 months;
- 6 months bank account / credit card statement;
- Letter from a recognized public authority or public servant verifying the address of the customer;
- Gas connection registration letter;
- Income tax / Wealth tax assessment order;
- Domicile certificate with communication address and photograph;
- Certificate by Village Extension Officer (VEO) / Village Head or equal or higher rank officer. Branch to confirm that the certificate is issued by the right person;
- Registered lease / leave and licence agreement with a utility bill in the name of the landlord;
- Address proof in the name of the father / mother / spouse / blood relative of the applicant, as a supporting document that establishes the relationship between the applicant and the person in whose name the address proof is available.
